Varnavas Timotheou is the founder of Hegemonic Project Games and the co-designer of Hegemony: Lead Your Class to Victory. After completing his MA in International Political Economy at King´s College London,he wanted to inspire people to learn more about politics. This vision led to the creation of Hegemony, an asymmetric board game in which 2-4 players simulate the economy and politics of a whole nation. Alexander Gertz is currently completing his MA in Global Political Economy and Development at the University of Kassel. He is the team´s academic content manager, responsible for linking the game´s mechanics and the underlying theory in a concise and non-normative way.
