Fred has designed many games that seemed to delight his friends and family but whose components were disastrously non-market-friendly. But he’s finally overcome his obsession with buckets of custom dice. He realizes that being a board game designer and self-publisher is risky and competitve; but his day job is being a theatre actor, so he’s all set for stability.
